An internal tool used by WeHare to find creators for brand partnerships. It is not a product, it is not for sale, and it has no public users. This page exists so that anyone – a creator, a platform, a reviewer – can see plainly what it does.

What it does

It searches public platform directories for channels on a given subject in a given country, then reads what the platform publishes about each channel: the name, the handle, the subscriber or follower count, the declared country, and the channel’s own public description, including any business contact address the owner has chosen to put there.

It writes that to a list that WeHare staff use when deciding who to approach about paid partnership work. That is the whole of it.

What it does not do

  • It does not display YouTube content, or any platform’s content, to anyone.
  • It does not sign anyone in and holds no permissions on anyone’s account. It uses a server API key, never OAuth, so it never receives an access token.
  • It does not collect private data, video data, comments, watch history or analytics.
  • It does not publish, sell, license or share the list.
  • It has no advertising, no tracking, and no end users to track.

How it runs

As a command-line script on a company computer, run by one member of staff. There is no website, no login, no app store listing and no hosted service. Its output is a file on that computer.

Platforms it reads

YouTube, via the YouTube API Services, reading the public search and channels endpoints only. Instagram and TikTok, via public profile information.

Where it uses the YouTube API Services, the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy apply, and Google’s Privacy Policy explains how Google handles data when we query it.

If you are a creator

You may be on our list because you publish a business address on your own channel. If you would rather not be, write to contact@wehare.com with your channel name or handle. We will delete your entry and will not add you again. No explanation needed, and we will confirm when it is done.

What we collect, how long we keep it and how to have it removed is set out in full in our Privacy Policy, and the Terms of Service cover the rest.
